The year 2023 is almost here, and it’s already time to start checking out what Chevrolet will have to offer in the New Year. Chevrolet is delivering an interesting mix of refreshes and upgrades on some of their older, more classic cars and some of the newest members of the Chevy family. As the Chevy dealer near you, Edwards Chevrolet 280 is ready to show you all of the exciting upgrades that you are going to want to experience for yourself.
Chevrolet seemed to understand that its consumers expect two very different but very important things from them: an eye on the future, with respect for the past. That’s why the Chevy Colorado, a beloved midsize pickup, saw some exciting and snazzy upgrades both in the performance and tech departments. It’s why the Corvette is very much here to stay, but with some upgrades that will make your heart stop. It’s also why their newer additions of the Bolt EV and EUV––vehicles that acknowledge the green and EV direction the car world is heading––got a lot of attention in the 2023 upgrades. There’s plenty to love about this year’s Chevy models, so we’ve put together some of the highlights.
The 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06
The thrilling and gorgeous Corvette is ready to wow speed demons and sports car enthusiasts. This year’s model, the Z06, gets a 5.5-liter V8 engine with 670 horsepower that will take your breath away. If you’re looking for a car whose engine could restart a stopped heart, this is the one. It can go from zero to 60 in 2.6 seconds for a truly exhilarating behind-the-wheel experience. Plus, it enjoys an all-new flat-plane crankshaft, which is lighter, allowing for less inertia and overall better acceleration. You will leave others in the dust in the Corvette Z06.
It also has magnetic selective drive control, which reads the road and makes adjustments in a matter of seconds to adapt to the conditions. Pair that with the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and you’ll enjoy the smoothness of an automatic combined with the command of a manual. For those wanting to hit the tracks, you can opt for the available performance data recorder, which will show stats like your lap speed and gears selected, so you can learn and improve after every race.

The 2023 Chevy Blazer
Chevy’s midsize SUV, the Blazer, is back with a completely new look. It boasts an entirely updated front fascia with a new grille, new LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, and updated tail lamps. This makes for a truly sophisticated-looking SUV that remains sporty and fun to drive. Also new on the outside are the options of 18, 20, or 21-inch wheels. Additionally, there are several new paint color options, including Sterling Gray Metallic, Radiant Red Tintcoat, and Copper Bronze Metallic.
Inside, you’ll notice an all-new 10.2-inch diagonal center screen standard on all models. Wireless charging for your devices is available on all models. There is an available 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot as well. The RS trim enjoys the new and stunning Nightshift Blue Interior. A power-programmable liftgate is available on some trims and standard on others for easy loading of the trunk. As was the case with previous years’ models, it’s rich with driver assist features like the following distance indicator and forward collision alert.
The Bolt EV and EUV
Chevrolet is staying ahead of the competition in its electric vehicle game. It’s offering a significant price drop for its 2023 Bolt EV and EUV. In fact, drivers can see a reduction of over $5,000 on certain trims, so those who were interested in these stylish EVs in the past but held back because of the price should consider checking out this year’s models.
Independently, each of these EVs is seeing some new and attractive upgrades. The 2023 Bolt EUV gets the head-turning Redline Edition. This means jet black leather and red accent stitching on the inside and the paint options of Summit White, Mosaic Black Metallic, or Silver Flare Metallic finishes on the outside. The 2023 Bolt EUV also enjoys Super Cruise hands-free driving capabilities. In terms of its battery power, it has DC fast charging compatibility to get 95 miles in just 30 minutes.
The 2023 Bolt EV enjoys some exciting upgrades, too, starting with one-pedal driving that lets drivers accelerate and brake all with one pedal, greatly reducing fatigue on long trips. It also has DC fast charging compatibility and gets 100 miles after just 30 minutes of charging. The Bolt EV will see the new Radiant Red Tintcoat option on the outside, as well as a new dealer-available, illuminated charging port.
The 2023 Chevy Colorado
The easy-to-maneuver and highly capable midsize pickup, the Chevy Colorado, returns with only one engine option this year, the 2.7-liter four-cylinder engine. That said, the engine comes in three forms, so the horsepower varies depending on if you get the base engine (237 hp/259 lb-ft of torque), the Plus engine (310 hp/390 lb-ft of torque), or the High-Output engine (310 hp/430 lb-ft of torque).
Aesthetically, drivers will instantly notice that the 2023 Colorado has a larger width and wider wheelbase, offering more stability. There will be a Trail Boss option with performance features that land somewhere between the Z71 and the ZR2. Plus, there will be a Desert Boss Special Edition, a reconfigurable bed, and integrated tailgate storage.
The 2023 Chevy Colorado will only be available as a crew cab with a five-foot short bed. However, it’s still available in rear or four-wheel drive. One major change is noticeable on the interior, which is the majorly improved. 11.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that comes standard.

Chevrolet Delivers Innovation and Timelessness in 2023
Chevrolet has made thoughtful and precise changes to some of its vehicles for the year 2023. It’s no secret that more and more drivers are considering electric vehicle options every year and that other major car manufacturers are creating their own EVs. So Chevy did a smart thing by taking a close look at two of its top EVs, the Bolt EV and EUV, and considering what improvements they could make. Price drops, better tech, and faster charging were all welcome additions to these electric vehicles.
Chevrolet will always be a favorite brand for pickup drivers, and Chevy knows it, which is why it continues to improve its classic midsize pickup, the Colorado, in the 2023 lineup. With a new Desert Boss Special Edition and Trail Boss trim, it’s a worthy choice for off-road enthusiasts and adventurers looking for a highly capable truck. Meanwhile, the Blazer has always been a beautiful and modern midsize SUV. Chevy just gave people more of what they already love with a new look, better infotainment features, and more wheel-size options.
As for the thrill seekers out there looking to upgrade their weekend ride, the new Corvette is certainly a contender. It has capabilities that will take your breath away, all in a stunning body, and with a fun performance data recorder that lets you learn about your own driving patterns so you can get better with every lap. All in all, drivers are going to like what they find in Chevy’s 2023 lineup.
