Meet Our Staff

Hello, My name is Kevin Liles, General Manager at Edwards Chevrolet-280. It is my pleasure to welcome you. Our mission is to be the benchmark for excellence in every aspect of our business, always exceeding the expectations of customers and associates. Dedicated to delivering exceptional service and value, our goal is to create an environment of mutual trust and respect; to promote personal and professional growth; to foster teamwork and associate involvement and to demand the highest ethical standard from ourselves. Our commitment to this mission makes our company a place where people want to work and do business.

I’m Lance Hood, General Sales Manager at Edwards Chevrolet 280. Since joining the dealership in 2015, I’ve grown from a member of the sales team into a leadership role by staying focused on hard work, continuous growth, and serving others. Before entering the automotive industry, I worked in law enforcement, serving on SWAT and the Special Operations Group (SOG). That experience shaped my approach to leadership and taught me the importance of teamwork, accountability, and being someone others can count on—values I bring to my work every day. I never imagined I would build a career in the car business, but it has become one of the most rewarding decisions of my life. I’m proud to lead a team that works hard to create a welcoming, transparent experience for every customer. Whether someone is buying their first vehicle, upgrading for their family, or simply exploring their options, my goal is to make sure they feel respected, informed, and confident in their decision. At Edwards Chevrolet 280, we’re committed to building lasting relationships—not just completing transactions. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers, support our team, and help make every visit a positive one. “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely.” — Proverbs 10:9

Originally from Springville, Alabama, I’m a proud husband, a man of faith, and approaching my 7-year anniversary with Edwards Chevrolet! Throughout my career, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to grow from Sales Professional to Finance Manager and now Sales Manager. What I love most about my job is helping customers through the entire car-buying process, understanding their needs, and helping them achieve their goals. My faith guides the way I lead, serve, and treat others. I believe in building lasting relationships through honesty, integrity, and genuine care. One of my favorite quotes comes from Spider-Man: “With great power comes great responsibility.” To me, leadership isn't about a title; it's about the responsibility to serve others, lead by example, and make a positive difference. One of my favorite Bible verses is Proverbs 3:5–6: “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Whether I'm helping a customer find the perfect vehicle or encouraging my team to grow, my goal is simple: Honor God, serve people, and make every interaction count!
