For more than a century, Edwards Chevrolet has focused on serving Birmingham both on and off the lot. Our team supports local nonprofits, hosts fundraising events, and runs seasonal drives that directly benefit families across Central Alabama.

Signature Programs

Children’s of Alabama — Sugar Plum Shop (Holiday Bikes & Toys)

Each holiday season, we rally customers and staff to donate bikes and ride-on toys for the Sugar Plum Shop so parents of hospitalized kids can “shop” for gifts at no cost. In December 2019, our downtown store delivered 160 bikes and trikes; in recent holiday seasons, we’ve continued the tradition and even tied bike donations to new-vehicle sales.

The Exceptional Foundation — Annual Chili Cook-Off

We support Birmingham’s beloved Chili Cook-Off benefiting The Exceptional Foundation, which funds programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. It’s one of the city’s largest community fundraisers, with proceeds going directly to local programs.
